Tattoo Removal

Our state-of-the-art Q-Switched ND Yag Laser technology utilises laser energy at two wavelengths, 1064nm and 532nm, to target a wide range of tattoo pigments. The 1064nm wavelength is effective for removing darker pigments, such as black and blue, while the 532nm wavelength targets lighter pigments, such as red and orange. The ND Yag laser emits high-energy, short pulses of laser light that penetrate the skin and break down the tattoo ink particles, which are then eliminated by the body's immune system. With minimal downtime and customisable treatment options, ND Yag tattoo removal is a safe and effective way to remove unwanted tattoos.

Key Benefits of Q-Switched ND Yag Laser

  • ND Yag lasers can target a variety of tattoo pigments, including dark colours that are often difficult to remove.

  • Tattoo removal with an ND Yag laser is a non-invasive procedure, meaning there is no need for incisions or needles.

  • There is minimal downtime associated with ND Yag tattoo removal, with most patients able to return to their normal activities immediately after treatment.

  • ND Yag lasers are safe for use on most skin types, including darker skin tones that may be more susceptible to scarring with other types of laser treatments.

  • ND Yag tattoo removal treatments can be customised based on the size, location, and colour of the tattoo, providing a tailored approach to each patient's individual needs.

Is Tattoo Removal right for me?

At our clinic, we utilise Medical Grade Lasers of the highest quality, and our team are extensively trained and experienced to ensure maximum safety and efficacy of the procedure.

It is important to note that certain lightly pigmented colours, may not respond as well to the treatment and can be more challenging to remove.

We recommend opting for a complimentary initial consultation, where we will provide a comprehensive evaluation of your eligibility and discuss the estimated number of sessions required to achieve your desired results.

  • How many treatments are required?
The number of laser tattoo removal treatments will depend on the amount, colour and type of tattoo ink, the depth of tattoo ink into the skin and the method of tattoo application. Professional tattoos may require ten or more laser treatments, while self-applied tattoos may fade after fewer treatments.
  • What kind of technology is used?
We are equipped with a leading Q-Switched laser. It offers powerful, stable and reliable treatment for a wide range of medical and cosmetic indications. It is fast becoming well recognised for its ease of use and versatile applications. It’s equipped with three major modes and wavelengths: 1064nm, 532nm and the additional “Genesis laser mode”.
  • How much does tattoo removal cost?
Our tattoo removal treatments start from $99, and vary depending on the size of your tattoo. If you are unsure of your tattoo size, we offer a completely cost free, no obligation consultation to new clients prior to beginning treatment where we will be able to give you a quote as well as an indication on how many sessions will be required to remove the tattoo.
  • How long do I need to wait in between sessions?
Tattoo removal treatments are conducted at minimum in 8 week intervals.
  • Will it remove my tattoo completely?
Most tattoos can be entirely removed using our laser. Based on the specific characteristics of your tattoo, our laser professionals will be open with you about what level of removal is most likely to be possible for your tattoo. Green and blue tattoos are more stubborn in complete removal.
  • What do I need to do prior to coming in for my appointment?
Avoid sun exposure for a minimum of 4 weeks prior to treatment. This includes fake tanning. Ensure the area to be treated is free of open wounds or dermatological skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and keloid scarring. Please shave the area before treatment.
